Courtney
Office Manager
Courtney joined our practice in July 2025, bringing strong leadership experience from a combined ten years in the hospitality field before transitioning into dentistry in 2021. Courtney has grown to love the many facets of the dental profession and enjoys collaborating with her team to find creative ways to continually elevate patient care. Courtney values being part of a team dedicated to creating a welcoming, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient. She is committed to strong leadership, clear communication, and efficient systems that support both the team and the patients we serve. Outside of the office, Courtney is married to her husband Jake and together they share a dog named Radar—named after the beloved MASH* character. She enjoys reading, cooking, arts and crafts projects, and traveling to new destinations rich in culture. Additionally, Courtney adores spending time with her niece and nephew, who never fail to bring laughter, surprises, and a sense of adventure into her life.
Karen
Patient Care Coordinator
Karen joined our practice in May 2025 after a 17-year career with the United States Government, where she excelled and advanced into multiple management roles. A Franklin County native, Karen values working in a family-oriented dental office that prioritizes exceptional patient care. Karen brings strong organizational skills, leadership experience, and a compassionate approach to every patient interaction. Outside of the office, Karen enjoys spending time with her son and her three feline companions, reading, crocheting, and being surrounded by family. She is also an avid flamingo enthusiast and loves finding fun and whimsical flamingo-themed items.
Jana
A/R Specialist & HR Representative
Jana brings over 40 years of experience in the dental industry to our practice. She began her career as a Dental Technician and Assistant in the U.S. Navy and has since grown into leadership roles, including Director of Operations in previous positions. Today, Jana focuses on the insurance and billing side of the practice, where she has a passion for metrics and helping patients better understand and maximize their dental insurance benefits. She holds her MAADOM distinction from the American Association of Dental Office Management and serves on the Advisory Board for United Concordia Dental Insurance. Jana values the opportunity to support Dr. Lieberman and work alongside a fantastic team, contributing to the overall success of the practice. Outside of the office, she enjoys knitting and baking and is a Reiki Practitioner, with plans to become certified as an End-of-Life Doula. She is the proud mother of three adult children, with two sons living in Baltimore and a daughter at home in Utica, New York.
Penny
Registered Dental Hygienist
Penny joined our practice on December 1, 2025. She earned her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of New England in Portland, Maine, in 1999. What she enjoys most about working here is being part of a team-oriented office where everyone is kind, supportive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care and feel comfortable from the moment they enter. She contributes to the team by reviewing patient charts and dental histories prior to visits so she can provide personalized, thorough care. She resides in Highgate Center with her husband, Jason, and their three children, Gavin, Chloe, and Myles. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and being outdoors. Her favorite season is summer, when she loves swimming in her pool or boating and fishing on Lake Champlain.
Tiffany
Registered Dental Hygienist
Tiffany, RDH joined our practice in November 2025. She graduated from Vermont Technical College in 2006 and began her dental career assisting at just 15 years old, building a strong foundation in patient care early on. Tiffany also spent two weeks providing dental care in Haiti, where she helped deliver cleanings and sealants to those in need. She loves working in a welcoming practice where the team collaborates seamlessly and truly enjoys what they do. Tiffany contributes daily by delivering high-quality patient care, actively listening to patients’ concerns and goals, and working closely with her team to create positive experiences. Outside of the office, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her son, Josh, as well as her dog and cat. She loves dancing and singing, exploring all forms of art, and has a love for sports cars, motorcycles, and lifted trucks.
Karrie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Karrie joined our practice in 2022 as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She brings a unique and well-rounded background, having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Technical Journalism in 2002, followed by her dental hygiene degree from Vermont Technical College in 2013. She enjoys being part of a well-organized, upbeat office where professional skills are shared respectfully and life experiences are valued as a team to achieve success. She contributes to our practice by incorporating patient education into every visit, helping patients feel informed and confident about their oral health. Outside of the office, she is a proud mom to two sons, Kayden and Mason. She enjoys traveling, long walks with her three dogs, anything involving water—especially swimming, scuba diving, and sailing—and trying new hobbies.
Stacey
Registered Hygienist
Stacey began working with our practice in 2024 as a temporary hygienist and officially joined our team part-time in 2026. She graduated in 2005 after attending the University of Vermont and Vermont Technical College. Stacey enjoys the strong sense of teamwork, shared purpose, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with both patients and coworkers. She contributes to the success of the practice by helping patients feel comfortable and by educating them on the value of their dental care and treatment. Stacey also appreciates the work-life balance that Northern Vermont Dental Care provides, allowing her to prioritize both her career and her family. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, sugaring, spending time with family, and making it a goal to visit a new state each year with her loved ones.
Janelle
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Janelle, EFDA has been a valued member of our team since February 2025 and brings more than 31 years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from the Center for Technology in Essex in 1995 and has a deep passion for dentistry, finding great reward in restoring smiles and experiencing the gratitude of her patients. Janelle enjoys being part of the practice, especially the convenience of working close to home, which allows her more time with her family. She values working alongside Dr. Lieberman and her coworkers in a collaborative environment focused on delivering excellent patient care. Janelle takes pride in training and mentoring team members, sharing her extensive knowledge to help others work more efficiently and confidently, and she enjoys providing patient education to ensure patients leave feeling informed, fulfilled, and well cared for. Outside of the office, Janelle has been happily married to her husband since 2003 and is the proud mom of two sons, a daughter-in-law, and a cherished grandson. She is also the loving owner of several wonderful cats.

Registered Dental Assistant
Jackie joined our practice in 2021 and is a valued member of our clinical team. She completed her education at the Center for Technology in Essex, Vermont, and earned her dental radiology certification in 2022. Jackie enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and takes pride in supporting both her patients and fellow team members. She provides quality clinical care while helping ensure each patient feels comfortable and well cared for during their visit. Outside of the office, Jackie cherishes time with her supportive family, especially her two grandchildren who bring her so much joy. She is also an avid gardener and enjoys spending time tending to her plants.

Registered Dental Assistant
Kristen joined our practice in December 2025, bringing experience from another dental office and a strong background as a Registered Dental Assistant since 2016. She values the close-knit dental family she has found here and enjoys working in an environment where the team collaborates, supports one another, and works seamlessly together. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her son and daughter, enjoying family and friends, camping, boating, and cheering on her children at the sporting events they are passionate about.
